I read from Fox 13 Seattle that Tukwila Police Department honors the life and career of K9 Ace. It's one of the most beloved officers in the department who passed away earlier this week. According to the police department, Ace joined the force in March 2013 and paired up with his handler, Officer Frank. In his career, Ace helped to capture hundreds of suspects and saved the lives of human police officers on different occasions. Ace's family said Ace always brought a comforting presence, especially during traumatic and stressful calls. After Ace retired in 2019, K9 Ace spent days enjoying life at home with officer Frank and his family. Sadly, the family laid him to rest, burying him with his tracking harness. Read more.
